The BD FACSAria™ is a new-generation high-speed cell sorter. It features a fixed-alignment cuvette for enhanced fluorescence sensitivity. Our BD FACSAria™ is equipped with four air-cooled lasers (Violet/405 nm, Blue/488 nm, Yellow-Green/567 nm, Red 633 nm) and 16 fluorescence detectors. It enables high-speed multi-color sorting at acquisition rates of up to 20,000 events/second. It is capable of sorting in bulk sorting devices up to four lanes; or sorting a single cell (ACDU). Cell collection is possible in tubes (from 1.5 mL microtubes to 15 mL centrifuge tubes), on multi-well plates or microscope slides.
A choice of nozzles enables users to sort a wide range of particle sizes. Nozzles are available in four sizes: 70, 85, 100 and 130 microns.
Our cell sorter is installed under a Class II microbiological safety cabinet, reducing the risk of contamination and enabling applications such as cell culture after cell sorting.

The configuration below is the standard configuration. Numerous bandpass and longpass filters are available on the platform and can be exchanged for the acquisition of other fluorochromes.
