The Aurora cytometer is a spectral analyzer with the unique ability to measure all the emission spectra of fluorochromes or fluorescent probes excited by all the lasers installed on the instrument. Our Aurora is equipped with four lasers (UV/355, Violet/405, Blue/488 and Red/640 nm excitation wavelengths), three scattering channels (FSC and SSC on blue and violet lasers) and 54 fluorescence channels. Capturing the full spectrum enables new deconvolution algorithms to be used for subsequent data analysis. Until now, up to 40 different fluorochromes could be resolved simultaneously in a single panel, even when several markers are co-expressed on the same cell. The new SpectroFlo™ software offers intuitive working, from quality control to data analysis, with technological tools that simplify the execution of any application.
