MultiMACS™ Cell24 Separator Plus from Miltenyi Biotec is a semi-automated cell separator that enables magnetic cell separations based on MACS® microbeads and MACS columns. It is the first step in automated cell separation, and enables multiple magnetic cell samples to be isolated in parallel using MACS technology.
Whether you’re dealing with a large number of samples, large sample volumes or individual samples, the practical design of the MultiMACS Cell24 Separator Plus means you can scale up or down to suit your needs. The instrument is designed to isolate virtually any cell type from any source, providing reliable, standardized results. It is compatible with many downstream applications, such as flow cytometry, cell culture assays or molecular analysis.
The MultiMACS™ Cell24 Separator Plus enables convenient processing of diverse samples in parallel or large-volume samples. By using the Multi-24 column block or the single column adapter, you can easily vary the number of samples to be processed at once. With the Multi-24 column block, you can easily process up to 24 samples. For cost-effective cell separations with smaller sample numbers, the Single Column Adapter allows you to use between one and 12 single columns. High-volume samples, such as buffy coat, are evenly distributed between columns and combined at the end of the cycle to ensure high-quality separations from every sample, regardless of volume.
